1/v + 1/u = 1/f
=> v = fu/(u - f)
=> v/u = f/(u - f) ... ( 2 )
From ( 1 ) and ( 2 ),
f/(u - f) = 1/(8.73)
=> u - f = 8.73f
=> u = 9.73f.
